my aunt lives in leksmondholf amsterdam....ill be goin there next summer(their summer that is)anybody who has an idea bout the place...please share?

Hi I live in Holland/the Netherlands. I am located half an hour from Amsterdam. Like the earlier response, you will like the 'tourist'things, but actually Amsterdam has so much more. We are facilitating also an Amsterdam portal, www.partyinamsterdam.com it is about the nightlive you will find in Amsterdam, which is very good, but you have to know the places to be. But you also should go to Zaandam, the windmills and the cheese factories and Rotterdam is also a nice metropole nowadays. And if you have time left, you should go visiting the dutch Islands, like Terschelling, Schiermonnikoog.. Holland is not only amsterdam..

Hi, I am Dutch but not living in Amsterdam. The city will be nice to visit, though you have to be carefull as there are also criminals in the center. You should visit De Dam, Madam Tussaud, and the museum. If you decide to travel in the country visit the windmills or go to Zeeland to see the waterworks. You can shop in Amsterdam till you drop and I am sure you will like it.
