What type of punishment did your parents use when you were a teenager?

I was getting hit by wodden scale or trouser belt. Once my dad kept hot knife on my hand. he did not wanted to burn my hand but, he just wanted to make afraid of that. but, due to afriad i shaked my dads hand & i touched it. I was so naughty & rude in my childhood. i was fighting with others & teasing other. they were complaining with my parents & i was getting punished.

well my parents are really nice to me as i m obedient so never was punished.

I actually never gave my parents any problems as a teenager (I was overly mature for my age) and they didn't have to punish me.

they would just take stuff away from me and tell me i cant go out

I don't think I really got punished as a teenager.There was one time when I was on the front porch in the middle of the night and my mom came outside and saw me and told me I was going to have to get up early and I better not complain about being tired.She took me shopping.I also had to watch the ten commandments.I did not think it was that bad.

I honestly wasn't a bad kid... so if I did do something, I was sent to my room. We laugh about it now because when we were sent to our room, it was terrible! We didn't have all the toys and gadgets that kids have today in their rooms. I had a radio, but that was it. I could read, or do a craft, but nothing fun, like tv or computer....

actually i been a pretty good kid, so it would be hollering and thats about it. my family gets alone well.
