How do you turn new response emails off?

I have read the FAQs and nothing there, edit my preferences and viewed my profile and nowhere is there a spot to change my settings so that I am not flooded with pages and pages of emails telling me there has been a response to my discussion.
This is maddening to see so many emails bombing my account. I want this to stop and need to change this, but where does one do this at?
Please share how you figured this out and stopped the constant incoming email messages that take up so much space in an inbox?
Thank you for helping.

You would think someone would know how to do this as the constant emails fill up quickly overnight and when offline.
I think the next step is to send an email to mylot asking for directions on how to get this changed.

Under edit your preferences you will see account information tab. on the bottom there is a check block that says to send you an email when someone responds to one of your discussions. I hope this helps
