Italy as Mafia?

I have been to italy and it is a beautiful country.I believe mafia is everywhere-mexico,argentina,india,thailand etc...These things go hand in hand with the devlopment of a country.There are certain things which the mafia dos which police and the current law and order cannot do.Italy is lovely.Gratis for the hospitability shown in your country during my visit.

Hi, Ettore! I'm Greek! And since I'm a "neigbour" I'm intittled to share my opinion. I think Italy has a bad reputation because of Mafia. But no, Italy isn't only Mafia and crimes. I have worked for 1 year with Italian people, and I have learned to appreciate your culture, your food, your drinks, your ideas. You have excellent taste in fashion and you manifacture great products most of the times.

I think Italians get a bad rap for the Mafia. Lot's of other countries have organized crime too. They just don't get as much publicity.

I don't think Italy is all bad.Well the good side will and must prevail then. A lot of crimes happen anywhere in the world so it doesn't make you an exception.

I am italian!tohugh i have never been to italy:( i have only read about and seen pictures. i would love to visit one day...when italy comes to mind i dont think about mafia,i think beautiful scenery and friendly family oreiented people.a place were i would love to be.. but when u do think if mafia in italy,yeah its there, but its in newjersey as well...not only italians are in the mob.lol

I think that anyone associating Italy only with the Maifa he has never been in Italy, which is one of the most beautiful country in the world. Unfortunately, as in other nations crime is present and makes news.

I'm Italian too!! So...i think that fortunately the world think about Italy as PASTA and PIZZA! :-))
