How much does spam bother you?

I'm sure every of you have an e-mail box. And I'm also sure all of you get more or less unsolicited mail. How much does it bother you when you have a clean mailbox one day and find it full of spam the other day? I find it annoying, because I get like 1000 spam messages per day in my email account (of course, this number has grown in time, not in a day).

We use to get over 100 messages of spam PER DAY!!! I got so sick of it that we signed up for the spam filter that is available through our email provider. The amount of spam is greatly reduced (we now only get 1 or 2 every few days or so). We can also "tweek" the system to allow certain addresses through, or to block specific addresses. Depending on your email provider, you may have something like this available to you also. It's worth at least checking into.

My daughter just showed me how to shut off my bulk mail box and now I hardly have any spam. I forget what she did. Something to do with the settings I'll have to ask her.
