Will you be hosting or attending a Superbowl party this year?

I have never hosted one but am thinking about doing so this year. I have a family gathering to watch the Superbowl but not a real party. What are some good things to have for a party, other than beer or any other kind of alcohol? What snacks are good? Hopefully my Eagles will be in the Superbowl this year which would make it more enjoyable.

Good luck to your Bears though I am a Eagles fan. We both have very good teams and we both have a good chance to get to the Superbowl and maybe we will end up playing each other for the right to play in the big game.

Super Bowl - xli
I almost always go to one or host one. The only year I didn't, now this will sound weird, is when my Steelers were in it. I knew if I had a bunch of people here or was with a bunch of people and some idiot stepped in front of me when a play was happening I'd have to kill them! lol

Philadelphia Eagles - This is my team and I think they will get to the Superbowl this year and win.
Thank you for the suggestions for foods and snacks for a Super Bowl party. :-) You are right that the Steelers will not be in the playoffs this year. Who are you cheering for to win the Superbowl this year? Of course, I am an Eagles fan so I am cheering for them.

And by the way.... unless satan freezes his den I don't think I have to worry about my Steelers being in this year's bowl! lol

oh.. and keep snacks simple... do subs and chips or a big sub and chips or pizza and wings, etc. The less work you have to put out the more you will enjoy the entertainment!

I certainly understand as not everyone is a football fan. What will you be doing that day? I will be doing other things during the early part of the day before my girlfriend comes over and we will have our own little private party.

I am not into sports. We have no family. So, no I will not be hosting or attending a superbowl party. Hope you enjoy yourself if you decide to do it.

I will be having a party but it will be a private party with me and my girlfriend. :-) It will be a fun evening for sure. Not everybody is into sports so that is okay.

I am not sure if I will be hosting or attending a superbowl party this year. It depends on who is playing. But I have had superbowl parties in the past. You seem to have many food ideas already and I can't think of any more. I bought this chip dip a long time ago. It is shaped to look like a football. Its really cute.

I appreciate whatever suggestions come my way from everyone and will take everything into consideration. Will you be watching the game, even if you do not attend or have a party?

My dad hosted a Super Bowl party last year. Even though the team we were rooting for lost, we still had a great time. My favorite party snack is chips and nachos cheese dip. Other great snacks that we usually have are chicken wings, meatballs, finger sandwiches, and chips. Super Bowl parties are lots of fun but be safe too and dont let anyone who's been drinking alot drive.
