Most beautiful place?

One of the most beautiful places I have ever visited was the Peace Pagoda.It is a huge white pagoda, on top of a mountain not far from my home.It is surrounded by an elevated walk way and has many golden statues of hindu Gods that face the dawn.The land surrounding is full of zen gardens and research libraries and an area where the monks hang their prayers flags. Where's the most beautiful place you've been and why was it?
