My wife in in love with these Havaianas footwear but I find them a bit expensive. She says that they are both durable and fashionable. I only find them expensive for a pair of flip flops. Has anyone tried these and are they any good for their price?

Yes Ive tried it and LOVE it!I actually have 10 pairs now! All in different colors and designs.
If you're buying your wife, you should consider of course the function and design she's looking for. Havaianas are not just thong slippers. There are also specifically designed for trekking and some are even high platforms too! Check out the designs at havaianas.com to give you more idea about the most popular slippers in the world from Brazil!

WOW. I'm not much on the fashion trend but after what you said for a pair of flip flops being that expensive, I too want to try it out if there are for guys.

I have long been planning of getting myself even just one havaianas footwear, but every time I go to the mall I feel like it's too expensive that I'd rather get another footwear which is just durable yet of reasonable price.

I suggest you shop around first. My wife swears they are the most comfortable ones in the planet and very fashionable too. They're too expensive for a pair of flip flops, if you ask me, but then again if it will make you feel good, then by all means...

hi.yea i have tried this flip flops and i loove it. Its best for people who walk a lot. I know they are expensive but imagine the comfort that it will give you while walking, its worth it. The siftest havaianas for are the brazils. even if you are walking on sand or rocks , you would not feel hurt, it will just tickle your feet a little. ;)
get one for yourself so you would know what she means...;)

My boyfriend thinks its too expensive for a pair of slippers as well. I haven't tried on one of them but I'm planning to but a pair that I really like. A lot of girls really like it because they say that it's comfortable to wear. The money that you will be spending won't go to waste. Just make sure your wife really wears them often. It's also fashionable, especially if your wife is fond of going to places on flip flops, she can never go wrong with this brand.

She now has 6 pairs! And I think she will get more in the future! LOL. She wears them all the time and takes very good care of them. SOmetimes its weird when I see her admiring them but I guess its the same when she sees me ogling the newest handheld games or newest pc's.

Havaianas are really very fashionable specially now that it's summer time. But it also is very expensive. As apractical person I think I wouldn't spend that much on a flip flop.

I've been using Havaianas for more than a year now. And i can say that they are really durable. I'm really surprised up to now the soles of my slippers still in it's top form. . . I'm planning to buy one again this summer cause my hava is kinda obsolete when it comes to the design. hehe! ... but really, it's really durable. It's worth every penny i spent. (",)

My niece has a pair of Havaianas. I guess the price here in the Philippines starts from 700 pesos a pair (roughly $14). But that is only with a simple or no design at all. I have a problem with the shape of my feet that they don't look well with the flip-flops. If it's not for my ugly feet, I would have at least five pairs. I will not hesitate to invest in an expensive footwear as long as they are durable, nice to look at and most important, very comfortable.
