I am a New Age Christian. I love to learn about other faiths. I belong to Unity Church and we basically except all and recognize the similarities rather than the differences. Please share with me some things about your faith.

I am a catholic but do respect other religions and I admire some of their way of teaching about God.... what matters to me is we all believe to GOD up there, we call him in diff'rent names. for born again I respect and admire the way they praise God raising their hand singing and dancing. for mormons and Jehovah, their patience in going house to house... for the moslems, I knew some for their GReat faith in their Koran..... as a catholic I admire and respect the FAITH and teachings I've learned as a person, there are some negative comments but still since it was instituted by Christ and Peter as the POpe now the Pope is Pope Benedict...wow .... it survived and still growing

Why does it matter that we all believe in god "up there"? I find humanists, atheists, and secular-minded people to be just as moral and respectable than any religious person. I had a really interesting experience once in a philosophy class where one of the students confessed that this was her first time meeting atheists (most of the class refered to themselves as agnostics or atheists) and was initially scared because of all the nasty things her pastor told her about atheists. She later said that she felt that the people in this class were some of the most thoughtful and caring (about general humanity) she had ever met -- specifically in the context that their ideas were for their own sake rather than a commandment or requirement from their particular religion

I am an ordained minister setting out on developing my own religion. Philosophically, the tao comes about as close to what I am capable of understanding about life and hence have decided to organize a religious construct around my own beliefs along these lines. In statistics, a null hypothesis is set up to be disproven. Like this, I have set up a null hypothesis against all known dogma and perceptions about reality, the supernatural, and beyond. As and if anything is capable of overcoming this null hypothesis then I shall follow that path -- until then I remain, happily, in the dark.

I am a Hindu by birth. I believe hinduism is a way of life and it's different for different people. I do like to follow some rituals because it is a part of my culture and I am proud of mine and love to know more about how and why we have those rituals (from what I've learnt most have practical significance).

I am a hindu by birth.. we have traditions in our life which I like as I have been brought up that way.... They just say that "Do good you will get back good"... These traditions have practical significance... For example, we have a tradition that we will wake up early morning during Dec and we draw kolam (drawings) in front of our house.... Scientifically eraly mornings in Dec has good oxygen in the air and it is good to inhale it .. it is good for ur health... This is one example :)
