Can We Talk?

Is a move toward world peace possible through the written conversations that happen on the internet? Is that dream too big? To learn to talk to each other, without arguing that only one way is right, through the writing practice we get from places like this, or through blogging? Could we use what we learn from writing to each other, to talk to each other face to face without belittling each other? Each soul had a right to happiness and freedom at their birth. Many factors have removed that from many. Justice will come at the end. I keep a blog with my beliefs listed. Not sure where to put all that, here. How could we do it? Keep a whole discussion site "talking" peacefully? If we could do it, as indiviuals with each other, could our governments?

I don't really think arguiment can be completely avoid on most of the communications. Its impssibles we all can have just same point of views all the times unless someone didn't tell the truth. World peace not going to archieved by talk alone and we can see how true it is on what happening around us everyday.Peaceful talk was a great dreams but in realistic it can hardly been archieved.

Suggestions? Really, I'm hoping we could figure some thing out...together...in this discussion. Can we, us little guys who are here now? It seems that we, at my lot, come from different parts of this planet. Yet, I also notice that except for a few; we come to places where we can come to agree with different language. People all want to be happy and secure, in general. Feel like it isn't all for nothing, right? We allow...the few...ruthless ones to destroy those dreams. What happened to those few that they become so ruthless? And, disregard life with such cruel apathy? The thing is how do we change ruthless by becoming ruthless ourselves? If you fight a dragon with the dragon's tools...everything...burns so, what's left to be in charge of?

Down
I am sad to say, but I think not. Part of the make-up of human nature is to war. With yourself, your family, your spouse, your teachers, etc etc. Every one wants to be right and if you do not believe as I do - I will fight you for it. If you have something I desire and you do not want to give it to me - I will fight you for it and take it by force. That has been the nature of mankind right from the start. It is this flaw that made us leave heaven in the first place. The EGO - me,me,me, I am better, I am stronger, I,I,I,... As long as humans have ego - sorry, no peace.

World peace through writing? I don't think so. If anything, writing only shows how varied people's beliefs are, and isn't it the differences in beliefs that spark conflict? To achieve world peace through writing, you need a very powerful piece that contains content everyone can agree on, or is forced to agree on. I believe no matter how broad your mind is, you cannot agree on how everyone chooses to live their own lives since we are affected by each other's actions, some more than others. And are not actions dictated by beliefs? So you can agree to everyone's opinions but disagree on how they implement what they think is right. I believe until we can figure out how to best deal with this, world peace isn't achievable.

I wish it were only so easy. I find even on blogs or places like this when you say something someone else does not believe in you get the really rude comments. It is fine to disagree with someone but it is in the way you say it that causes alot of anomonsity between people.
