How to fight with depression without medication? What are the ways? Medicines have side effects so its better to follow other techniques. Depression also brings laziness. How to get ovet it?

Sometimes depression cant be fought without medication as it can sometimes be a chemical imbalance. I started medication a couple of months ago and the side effects went away after a couple of weeks and I feel like the meds have really helped! If you dont want to go that route try counseling and make sure you have one or two really close friends that you can talk to whenever you need to!

I usually try to fight depression with laughter. when ever I feel depressed I try to find something funny to laugh at. it is a good diversion and hleps to lift my mood a bit. Another thing is I always sought the help of my parents. I pour out my worries and woes to them. Just telling them helps out.

I used and still use to meditate or just close my eyes to no stress music nthat helps a lot. Also don´t forget and take care about yourself then you are down ..light some candles take a nice bath with a good book . Laziness well maybe it´s like that or not your body needs a lot of sleeping for heal up again so thats why u feel like that thought. Trv to come out in the wood and if u not have energy just take some coffee or whatever with u and just sit there and let the air fill up your mind . Sometimes is it more importent with silence , talking is and always gonna be good but it can also be to much. If u have hard and start with things in the day then try to put up a bit struktur around u not much it´s better and start with little things and make it then feel that u can´t handle it. I did bring in an own rule and still have it. Press off the brain then it´s weekend ..let the brain have vacations. Then u can handle that part u will love the weekends ;) and have them and look forwords too

First you have to know where depression come from, The depression usually come from something doesn't go right, something is wrong and make you depression. At that point, you choose to release yourself with that problem or carry with depression. Everything in you life is your choose, you want to be happy or unhappy? you want to be depressed or undepressed? you choose.

Best way in my opinion to fight depression is to confront yourself first and amdit that u are worthless. It a mind thing, kinda like reverse psycology. U have to get out and be active. Do positive things that make u feel good. Some of the positive things may take alot of work like, exercise and eating properly. Also meet people, network, get involve in other lives instead of being home feeling sorry for yourselves.

I struggle with depression everyday. The only advise I can give you is to have a strong support system from your family and freiends. You need people you can talk to and you can trust when you are feeling depressed. About the laziness...just get out there and do things. If you can keep your mind off of being depressed it helps a lot. when you are depressed, the more you think about it the more depressed you get. I hope this helps in some way.
