What do you think is the purpose of life?

This is a puzzling question I have always ask myself and the people around me. I do not understand why we are all living, I do believe in a higher being, such as god. ( I am a Christian )

Even I believe in GOD. I think all that happens to me is only because of GOD. Coming to the purpose of living, I think we do justice to life only when we live to the fullest. Now living to the fullest may mean different things to different people. Let each one take their own way(without harming others) and enjoy life. It is a boon. :)

God has a specific purpose for every single person. You are here on a mission and God put dreams and desires in your heart for you to carry out. So my purpose in life is not your purpose in life, but we are all here to grow spiritually and emotionally and to become better persons.

Good and thoughtful question. I think the purpose of life is simply to live. I believe in a higher being as well, but I think it put us here simply for that reason. We've been given an incredible gift and most people think too much of it, try to philosophize about it and all - but I think they look to deeply.
