I received this from a special friend and thought I would share it with you.
Remember:
"A good friend will come bail you out of jail.... but a true friend will be sitting next to you saying ……… We screwed up, but we had fun! "
Proud to be your Friend!
Make sure you read all the way down to the last sentence, and don't skip ahead.
I've learned...that life is like a roll of toilet paper. The closer it gets to the end, the faster it goes.
I've learned...that we should be glad God doesn't give us everything we ask for.
I've learned...that money doesn't buy class.
I've learned...that it's those small daily happenings that make life so spectacular.
I've learned...that under everyone's hard shell is someone who wants to be appreciated and loved.
I've learned...that the Lord didn't do it all in one day. What makes me think I can?
I've learned...that to ignore the facts does not change the facts.
I've learned...that the less time I have to work, the more things I get done.
To all of you, please make sure you read all the way down to the last sentence.
Show your friends how much you care. Send this to everyone you consider a FRIEND, even if it means sending it back to the person who sent it to you. If it comes back to you, then you'll know you have a circle of friends.
YOU ARE MY FRIEND AND I am honoured.

In the late 40's we moved when my step Dad bought a completely furnished four-bedroom house. Off the kitchen was a good-sized pantry and on the pantry wall was a small framed poem which to this day I have never forgotten.
A Friend
A friend is not a fellow
Who is taken in my sham
A friend is one who knows our faults
And doesn't give a damn.

This reminds me of my best friend. We've been friends since we were 12..we're 28 now. We've been through a lot together and she's like a sister to me.

Hey these are pretty good .... really like the one about the 'small daily happenings that make life so spectacular' .... and it is true ..... mostly we don't think about it until it is pointed out to us. True friends are very important .... if we have a couple of them in our life .... then we are pretty darned lucky I reckon.
Good of you to share these with all of us.
PS - next time can you number them, so it makes it easier to read when responding ..... I cannot copy and paste yet which means I have to read and type everthing.

In our journey in life we meet many friends from different walks of life.
But true friends will not exceed more than ten for you really knew them not during your happy days and victories but during your dark hours and failures.
This is one good quote and I really love it, your discussions are more on quality rather than quantity.
