President Ford

President Ford died today. Did you like him? If so, why? I did like him. He was from my hometown in Michigan. He was the only President that was never officially elected into office. God Bless his family!

Yes I did like Ford. He came around at the time that the US needed a calm President and Ford was that. He was very professional in his manner and brought the US out of a very ugly situation (watergate). He is also given credit for the Vietnam war ending. I would have liked to have seen him get re-elected. I did not vote in that election and it was a surprise the American people did not want to elect him to office. He will be missed.
