Is it OK to put our children in boarding schools?

Is it ok to put our children in boarding schools? I think its really bad because the most precious years of their lives i.e the childhood is deprived of love, comfort, security ofcourse getting from own parents. Are they able to enjoy their childhood like normal kids who stay with their parents? Its a difficult situation for the child as well as the parents.

It is always better from the psychological point of view that children should grow amidst parents, grand parents, brothers and sisters. In my view boarding school is inevitable for orphans.

No, childdren need the love of thier parents. That is something that you are not going to find at any school, unless it was a home school and you were the teacher.
