What grip do you use?

If you play table tennis, what grip do you use to actually play? Shakehand or Penhold (or possibly the V or U ones). I personally play penhold, and know a couple of people who play with the V one which is similar to penhold except with your second and middle fingers rather then thumb and second finger.

I use the shakehand grip. Its also called the western grip coz most of the people in the western countries use that type of grip. Its really difficult to use the pen grip. The wrist has to be so flexible. How often do you play? And what level do you play now?

I play once a week. I play for a club, but for amateurs, really. However, we play ina League, currentl I'm in 3rd class. The 1st class is really amazing, and I have difficulty coping with people inthe 3rd class, so you can imagine the different level of play people have. Most are 30+, some 60+ years old, but they can play!

I use the penhold, which was very popular with Chinese players, and is still is, I guess. I learned that grip when I was 13, stopped playing for about 30 years, then started again and I had not forgotten it at all! A bit like riding a bicycle. I play for a club now once a week, and most of the people do not use the penhold. Actually I do not recall seeing anyone use it.
