Asia pasific internet colapse !!!

Today 27-dec-2006 there is earthquake on Taiwan with power 7.1 SR broken down Indonesian fiber optic route on there, at now Im using satelite connection from hawai teleport but it's very very much slower than ever Im loading mylot page in 5-10 minutes!! wow!! I mean I can't participate to much in this 1-2 weeks because our internet routing have problem from Taiwan. Im reading newspaper today they say not only Indonesia but almost all country comes from ASIA have problem because this eartquake.
how about your connection especialy you are come from asia country, is it good or more slower? let me know.

internet connection in metro manila (philippines) was almost down this morning but here in our places (50 miles from manila) its actually ok.

really? it could be the reason also that it's hard to connect the internet here in Manila and when connected it's very slow. We just have an hour difference here in Manila with time....I experience that it's hard to connect 5hours ago until now.
Thanks for the info. I will research on that for more info.
