Have you ever built a real snowman?

i was lucky to be in middlesbrough(U.K), during xmas, and we had holidays in the port, where our ship was docked. it was snowing heavily and all of us in our ship had so much fun building a snowman. One of my photos, shows me with the snowman i made. that was the only time i had a chance to make a snowman. There was snow in several other places i went to as well, but i couldn't make a snowman because i did not have time for it.

Im from Canada so we have lots of snow to doing anything you could possibly want. Yes though I do go out with my kids and make snowmen with them.

Oh yes of course Not in the past few years, but I have many years ago. I don't like playing in the snow much now. But I guess I should go out and build one next time we get a good snow fall.

Yeah in my country always snows, even now everything has a cover of a pure white. I build every time in this season of winter a snowman with my friends it is such a pleasure for us to build one. Good luck and build many many snowman!

i have but not for about 30 years since i was a child, it never seems to snow as much in the north of England these days

Yes i have built many snowmans it is always fun to do it with your kids.

Yes, I have built many snowmen in my younger days and it was a lot of fun. I have made small ones and big ones. :-) Now the only thing I do with snow now is shovel snow and have snowball fights and make snow angels. :-)

I used to love to build snowmen when I was younger and even when my kids were younger. The older I get, the more I hate snow.

Being in Ohio has given me lots of chances in my 40 years to make snowmen. Lately thought it seems that when it snows it doesn't stay around long enough or it is not the sticky stuff so great for making snowmen. We like to make them when we can to line our driveway!! Not all the way since it is 1000 feet long.

When I was a child yes I did. I grew up in Michigan. I built snowmen, snow forts and of course I made snow angels. I miss snow at times. I live in florida now and haven't seen snow in a long time.

I used to love building snowmen, and snow forts with the kids, but lately here in Southern Ontario we do not seem to be getting snow the way we used to or certainly when I was a kid in the early 70's. Global warming maybe?

I have built lots of snowmen, but unfortunately the weather was not very cold so they melted pretty quickly. We rarely get snow in Ireland now, so I guess I will have to wait until I go on holiday before I build my next snowman.

Yes, I used to build one every year when I was little, but the trouble is, we don't get so much snow here now, it's still really cold, but not enough to get lots of snow, we get a sort of small covering if we get any at all. (I'm in England)

Yes, we have. Asa kid we built one about 8 ft. tall. My dad and another neighbor had to get stepstools and stand on them to get the head and face on.

Yes I have made a snowman many, many, many times! I live in Northern Wisconsin and have my whole life. There are years that we gave over 4-6 feet of snow. Last year the last snow fall of the year dumped 22 inches in 1 day in our backyard!!!! So far this year we haven't been able to make a snowman though. There isn't even enough to make a snow angel!

yes. ever sice I was little when snow hits the ground its time to make a snow man! or have a snowball fight!! ;)

Yes and we just built one last weekend. You gotta have good packing snow. It is so fun starting out with a little snowball and rolling until its big enough for the body and head. Each time we build the snowman (my daughter and I) we change the scarf but always use my gramps hat. We have a Steelers , Dolphins, Redskins, and Packers scarf that we use on our snowman! We always start with the Packers (My daughters team).. branches for the arms, carrot for the nose, and then we have a kit for the eyes, mouth and buttons! We love building snowmen! I live in Western NY.
