Montessori vs. Rudolph Steiner schools.

I'm considering sending my son to Montessori preschool next year. Has anyone here sent there child there or heard anything about it and, if so, what did you think? I've also heard a bit about the Rudolph Steiner schools and know the two are quite different. Can anyone tell me more about either? Thanks!
