Without internet, what will you do?

Because of Taiwan earthquake, most of people of china cannot surf the web, people feel it is very angry for that, they don't know how deal with the situation.
and there are a question, what will you do without internet?
my answer is to spend more time with friend, family, and you ?

It's funny isn't it, to think that it wasn't long ago that very few people even knew how to use the internet, but we all lived happily enough without feeling any inconvenience! But we've all become so dependant on the internet nowadays that when it's missing, we feel like we can't do anything. I think that it's perhaps a bad idea for society and people to be so reliant on technology, but we all do it! Part of me wishes that we could go back to doing things without computers and other gadgets - I think that a lot of skills and understanding of how things are done, and the world around us has been almost lost completely. I think that people would lead more fulfilling lives, and there would be less unemployment if all computers and gadgets stopped working forever! It seems to me that instead of helping us, they control us because we let them. Thanks for a great post xiongqh :-)

I have experience the earth quake, and it is not good foe me.
without internet, I find the time is pass slowly and I cannot find other things to do.
in that day, I have to go out and find some friend to shopping and make some cook.
because I am away from my parent, so when I am lonely, I always stay with my friend, it is important for me.

I thought taiwan and china have their own ISPs?I would probably make more friends if i don't have the internet because i spend most of the time on the internet.

i got so many thing to do with out internet. Internet just affect my online activity such banking and email. Others than that... all normal... hanging out with my wife, watching movie together and so much thing we together. Internet not affected our life so much.

I have used internet for the first time 3 yrs ago and I dont see much difference in that not being not there..May be I will spent that time with my friends gasing to them...

I'll doo same as you.. and I also do this when I'm not on internet.. if we are on internet we doesn't forget ouw friends and family. Hey are important to us and we love them. An also if it wasn't internet.. the nature is very beautyfull and a walk in the park is good for brain.:)
