Yes and I didn't know that was what it was!
My friends (a couple) asked me if I wanted to go out with them to see a movie and dinner on them. So I agreed. When they picked me up there was a third male friend with them. I didn't think anything of it. After the movie we went for dinner and I noticed it was strange he sat real close to me. Well after it was all over and it was time for me to go, they parked in front of my house and he got out with me. I took a couple of steps towards my front door and asked him "What are you doing?". He siad, "I'm walking you to your door for my kiss goodnight." Well I lost it and there was a huge scene but apparently, this guy had paid for everything for me and was convinced we were on a date together. Seems my other two friends created this, thinking if I was out right asked to go on a date I would have said no, so they thought this was better.
Never spoke to any of the three again.

I went on a blind date as a favor for my friend because she was shy and didnt want to go out alone and he brought his best buddy along. The buddy and I sat in the back of the car 12 inches apart and said nothing all the way to the movies, though I tried to start a conversation with the other 2 answering but he wouldnt. Then when we arrived, he ran out of the car into the building while the 3 of us walked after him. He bought his ticket and was already in line at the snack shack. I bought mine in spite of her date offering, and then walked over to the candy table to get in line behind him, he spun around so fast his coke fell down my front. No apology or anything, just told me to hold his popcorn and he went back and got another coke while my friend and her date sponged me down with napkins. I looked at my friend and said I was going home and she nodded. When the dude came over her date gave him the keys and said to take me home and the guy looked at him and me in shock. He said he was there to look at a movie and went inside! I told them to get inside and I would take the bus home which I did. Later, my friend called me and told me that after I left, before the movie started her date took the other guy outdoors to "talk" and came back alone. She was quite sure he beat his friend up. The next day my friend came over with her now new boyfriend who refunded me my ticket and washed my blouse for me even though my mother insisted she would do it.. How chivalrous!

I have never been on a blind date but I have dated a couple times with people that I met online. They were both long distance relationships and neither one worked out, though I am still good friends with the first one that I dated. My relationship with her was good one though not enough to get married or be boyfriend and girlfriend. The other relationship was a very bad experience. One I met in a chatroom and the other I met on a penpal website.

I have. I met my boyfriend on elftown.com. We started chatting then exchanged numbers and met the weekend after doing so. We've been together for three years now. Luckily we both live in the same town. :] I always tell people to take a risk as i have never regreted doing so.

No, I can't say that I have gone out on a blind date. I'm not really into just e dating at all. I'd rather know what I was getting myself into.
