who is the best sportsman for the year 2006?

according to me it is sharne warne at he has taken 700 wickets, but he was my choice but whose your choice, do let me know your choice, other thing i m not asking about criket only it could be from any sports, so be open

I don't agree with you. As a cricketer also he won't become best sportsman for the year 2006. Because this year there are lot many stars either batsmen or bowlers in cricket who scored consistently, or taken wickets more than Warne, like, Chandrapal (WI), Gibbs (SA), Pollack (SA), Ponting (Aus), Sangakkara (SL), etc. In my view Michel Schumaker (Ger) is best sportsman in this year, as he saw inevitable of his future and with dignity he resigned from the motorraces.

hey friend,
i have clearly mention in my writing that it is my choice and choice is choice so whether any other person agrees to my choice or not, doesnot make any difference, as it might be his choice like you choose michel, Like michel, shane is also taking retirement from cricket, and to give you a reason why he is my choice is because he is the first bowler to take 700 test wickets
