help! tricky situation

ok heres the situation i am in love with my girlfriend that i have been dating for a year and 3 months. we are in love and we talk about getting married and stuff like that. she is 18 and i am 19. she has dated before and i have not.she has a 21 year old sister who is rather attractive. i told my girlfriend that i thought that her sister is attractive. she thinks one of my friends is attractive. what we are going to try is im going to go on a date with my girlfriends sister while she goes on a date with my friend. its gonna be a double date with me, my gf,her sister,and my friend.
there are so many things that could happen like i fall in love with her sis and she doesnt fall in love and wants me back and stuff like that.
what should i do?

That's an odd situation. The way I see it is, if my girlfriend wanted to date my friend/sister, I'd be a bit skeptical of whether she actually wanted to spend the rest of her life with me.
And if I wanted to date someone else, I'd be questioning the same thing.
Unless you two are swingers with your friends and relatives, it sounds like to me you two aren't meant to be together as you've only been together a year and you're already looking for someone else to date. It doesn't make a difference whether your girlfriend knows about it or not.

you had a good response
it wouldn't be serious dating but just to see if anything would happen. i have never dated before and she has dated a few other people and its hard for me to accept her past because i have never dated. she thought that by me dating her sister (who i have a crush on) it would help me accept her past better. she said that if we were meant to be togethter that in the end we would be but im not sure if i believe in that "meant to be together" stuff.
