How bout the Alphabet?

Wow, I'm surprised that this discussion is still up after all these years! I would have thought it would be deleted. So, how about that alphabet? I mean, it's great. We have 26 letters and it all starts with A and goes to Z. Other countries and cultures might have different alphabets. Isn't that amazing?
