MCCC and United Parcel Service (UPS) have implemented an education and employment incentive plan that will help college students work and study without incurring debts in a program called "Earn to Learn."Part-time UPS employees are eligible for the program the day they are hired, and qualify for $3,000 per calendar year ($4,000 for part-time supervisors) in educational assistance with a maximum amount per term of $1500. Employees need only pay for 50% of the first semester's tuition which is at a fixed rate of $94.00 per credit hour plus 50% of all applicable academic fees. For subsequent terms, UPS will be invoiced directly for 100% of tuition and fees. Current UPS employees who are taking courses at MCCC for the first time must complete the MCCC Application for Admission, and should then obtain a tuition reimbursement form from their human resources department that is to be turned in to the MCCC Business Office at the time of registration.
