How do you choose the MyLot discussion you will join? / myLot

I'm just curious. I'm quite new here and I've started several discussions and there are no responses. I'm careful about the topics -- I choose general ones so more people could share their thoughts. And I believe my topics made sense. However there seems to be few people interested enough to join. I wonder if many of you respond only to discussions started by your friends; you see I don't have that many friends yet. There was one who invited me but I accidentally deleted the invitation. I enjoy MyLot and I would want to share as much as I can... So, how do you choose which discussions to respond to?

I choose a discussion if I have an opinion on something, or if somthing interests me, in my friends list I know which ones usually post quality discussions so when there is nothing in the main section I go through theirs to see if I can find a good one which I usually do. By the way welcome to Mylot, I hope you enjoy your time here.

Hi, lilaclady!Thanks for the response. Yes, maybe that's one thing I have to work on, having more friends. I usually go to my interests discussions too but I don't find many discussions I'd like to respond to. Thanks for welcoming me. Yes, I'm enjoying my time here. In fact, right now I'm at an Internet Cafe because my pc isn't working and I'm waiting for it to get fixed.
