Anyone Listen to Hendrix? Do you think hes the best Guitarist of all time?

Anyone here still dig Hendrix, I love the Man, I idolized him for so long i even look like him, I argue w/ Santana,Clapton,etc Fans, because there just loony, there is no question.......

Jimi Hendrix was a pioneer in the 'Rock Guitar' genre. He popularised the electric guitar and the interesting sounds it produced with the effects he used!

hey thanks for your comments dude, I like to find hendrix fans on here, this discussion keeps coming out of the blue with a new hendrix fan, Jammin Guitar Man, Is that a Gibson

Well thats an Epiphone Les Paul Standard!.....cant afford a Gibson... :( ...still im happy...its a brilliant guitar!

I am 43 year old and have been listening to Hendrix for over 30 years....25 years ago I thought he was one of the best but their are so many great musicians out their today....
Hendrix only had a few short years to show off and develop his talent. If Jimi were alive today he would be a guitar great with all the new technology out there...hell he would have invented new technology.

Hey, I never had any tech, and old timey wah peddle, and a peavy amp, I had a sky blue fender, and a black peavy predator, not that i didnt want a giant marshall...
whats wierd is my peavy rocked hard and my strat squire wasnt all that great... I got smart... I got a got an Ibanez now, but i dont play nearly as much as I used to...
Now Its just kinda something pretty to look at...sad i know...but i might get kicked outta my apt. if i really crank it up agian, Ive had compliants for it before...

I havnt giving the title "Guitar hero" to anyone scince Slash... do you think there will ever be another guitar hero... Tommy Morrello of Rage agianst the machine, i think hes in the group Audioslave now was pretty close he could do some wierd things w/ a guitar...Man, If Jimi was still alive ... dude i cant even Imagine... that is like a dream...
