Here in Melbourne, Australia, we're in the Temperate Zone. So ours summers can be quite hot, up to 43 degrees C. But our winters are cool but not as cold as some places. We rarely see snow, though it did snow on Christmas Day in the hills and mountains! Unusual because it's now summer here. The best time of year is usually Autumn when we have warm days and cool nights. Spring used to be our wettest time of year but we are in the middle of a drought.
