Corded Phones

Do you still have a corded phone in your home? I find it helps to have one in case of an emergency in the home because if the power goes out then the base station for a cordless phone no longer works.

My cousin had an emergency at her house and her kid sister needed an ambulance; they couldn't find the cordless to call and it was a moment of panic. A corded phone in the house is definitely worthwhile for those type of situations.

i don't have home phone service. but even when power is out locally, i'm still able to use my cell phone.

yes i do have and proves very handy in many situations
