What would you do...If you were God?

If your prayers only include a list of the the things YOU want or need, then you are like the little child who is just saying 'I wanna ...' or 'Gimme ...'. As the child grows up, he learns to see that his parents have a plan for life and that what he feels he wants or needs is often included in that plan without him asking! He learns, too, that the household runs better and happily if he tries to understand the plan and asks to have a useful place in it (do chores and so on, which - surprise, surprise - give him personal satisfaction just because he understands how things happen and feels that he is contributing). When we learn to pray, we learn to add 'if it be Your will' to things we ask for. God's will (or plan for His creation) is something we ought to strive to understand and work in accordance with. When we can do that, we often find that we have no need to ask for things because they happen in abundance and often in a much better way than we had imagined. So, in playing your game and putting myself in God's shoes, I would wish that everyone in this world would pay less attention to earthly religions and would seek to speak to me and see the need to understand (to the best of their ability) the plan I have for creation!
