Sponsor a child-You may have come across this in a number of papers,magazines and hoardings.These children would be based in underdeveloped countries.There are millions who are deeply moved by this and do contribute.But lately there have been a lot of scams about a lot of organisations being unregistered and pocketing the proceeds.This is a criminal offence and they should be punished.How many of us who have contibuted to this cause have ever got a chance to see the person/child who is sponsored?Please share your feelings and let me know of any organisation who is a genuine one?

yes i knw many organisations which run on the basis of money making and not really out of compassion or sympathy for these childrens. information about NRI or foreign institutions which is ready to donate are available after payment of a bulk amount which of course they get back thru this service. its a shame to all to allow this to still go on.
