Has anyone know about being a virtual assistant?

I've read several things about being a virtual assistant but I wonder what kind of money they make. Is there anyone out there who actually is a virtual assistant who could tell me more about it? What they like/dislike about it?

I am a VA from the Philippines and my boss is from UK. My job is mostly research and administrative. I can say that I am making more than if I had a regular part time job here. I've been working for two months now for an average of two to four hours a day. And I'm really enjoying the fact that I could earn that much in such a few hours of work at home near my baby daughter.

Thanks for your response, How did you become a VA and how did you get a job doing that as well? Did it cost you any money?
