I live in Ohio. At the begining of the year they raised our minimum wage to $6.25/hr. Before that it was $5.15/hr. I really think that they should raise it even higher because even now, it is hard for people to survive.

I believe that is what they just raised it to here in Las Vegas but we were at $5.15 also. I do not know how people can make it on that little.

It all depends on the work.For an hour for babysitting it is 10-12 dollars and for other physicallly challeneged work like moving etc they charge 60 dollars for an hour.

the minimum wage here is 8-9 dollars, I know a dollar but it's worth approx 1.30u.s, and if continue to raise merchants ae vex will they are already billionaires....
