This is for guys..

I'm a female, so I'll invert the question: Does it matter how many girlfriends a guy has had? Generally, I think it depends on a lot. For one, it doesn't matter the number, but how much they have done together. For example, if a guy has had 10 girlfriends, but they did nothing more than light kissing, then it isn't so bad. Versus a guy who had 2 girlfriends, but they did everything in the book -- plus more The question does come into mind though, why so many girlfriends? Does that mean he doesn't plan on dating me for very long? Am I nothing more than just a girl he can say he dated? Is he not interested in a long-term relationship that could lead to marriage? Is there some deal-breaker of a flaw that he has that makes girls not want to date him for a long time? On the other hand, maybe he is really picky. He dumps the girls because there is something about them that he can't stand. All in all, it really does depend on the situation. I wouldn't exactly write a guy off because of the number of girlfriends that he's had. But at the same time, I think I'd view him with a little bit of a guard up.
