Your opinion on the year 2012

The year 2012 is approaching quite quickly. What are your expecations or thoughts about what will happen come 2012? I know the aztec calender ends, and there are lots of reports of the world ending, or the world flipping, even the world stopping the spinning and start spinning the other way.
Alot of my friends are big into the 2012 theory and are buying land and starting to save food and water for that time.
What do you think will happen?

Well even though I dont beleave anything will happen on this day im still very intrested about this subject and I have done some research about this. And I must say its very intresting what they predict also its very scary also. I know a lot of people including me will be very scared the day before even though we dont think anything will happen.

Nothing will happen. Can you remember the Y2K scare, very genuine in nature. But what happend on 1.1.2000? Nothing. It was just another day.
Peple have been expecting all types of things on all days. One such day was 9.9.99. But nothing happens and the world just goes on as it is. I can of course tell what will happen in 2013. People will forget all the stories relating to 2012 and start coming up with stories of another year.

lol you do have a point. Yet the aztec calendar does end on December 22nd 2012. Do you think that has any meaning to it? or You just think the world will evolve like it has been?

Several things could happen, WIII, the end of this world, global warming etc...
