Medical Misdiagnosis

This hasn't happen to me, but to my mother she was sent home after she had a hysterectomy(?) with terrible back pain with was diagnosed as back spasms. She was given pain meds and told to rest. She insisted on being brought to the emergency room instead and saved her own life. The back pain was caused by blood clots moving up in to her lungs.
