I am also paying to my internet service provider. My internet service provider is AirTel. I am running internet through my mobile. Although speed is not good but it is cheep I am at present paying $8 for a month. One major benefit of it that is unlimited use of internet through out the month.

I pay a price similar for the ADSL here in Brazil. He would be approximately $30 for month. An expensive price for an ADSL of 300Kbps. I think that it is a short while fast InterNet, but not in such a way how much it would have to be for the price that I am paying.

I believe that we pay for an operator in supplying to the access the world-wide net to them. This ooreradora one charges our access. In some case the time that we are in. But this always does not happen. I think that everything varies its operator in accordance with.

Hmmm...good question. Probably no one owns it. And the reason we pay the providers is to provide the connection. They probably dont pay anyone because they have the capability to link to the internet themselves. If we had that capability ourselves we probably wouldnt have to pay anyone. The providers probably own a certain amount of bandwith though. And the FCC probably oversees who owns what when it comes to that. All speculation though.

I don't believe the internet is "owned" by anyone in particular. The origin of the internet was set up by the US government for an instant communication. However, in following years and new technology made the internet obsolete it was converted into what is now known as the internet. How and when exactly this came about I don't know.
