What is up with the strange weather?

I live in New York and I am shocked that we didn't get a white Christmas. We didn't even get any snow on Thanksgiving. We probably won't having any snow for New Years either. It's not even cold here. It feels like a fall day which is really strange not that i'm complaining because I am happy. Have any of you experienced strange weather where you live?

I live in sweden and we didn´t get any snow either wich is VERY strange, My fear is that it will come late and stay latye though and I am already longing for summertime =)

I live in Michigan and I have also noticed how strange the weather had been lately. We didn't have any snow for Christmas either. I think it could have something to do with el nino.
