in every religion, there is a major emphasis on prayer.
in hinduism it is to be twice a day, while for muslims i think it is 5 times a day.
but do we really pray tht way?
myself nt,i try but miss more thn an occasion.
but never miss morning prayer
wht about u?

as i am a hindu it is not fair but it is real truth

Wow, keep up the practice! I don't know the reason or logic behind it but we have inherited something precious from our ancestors. prayer actually acts as a great healer, it cleans your mind at least for some moments and gives you a great start to your day.
Thanks

thnx fr such a nice response
i wud like to comment tht.
we can divide human civilization in 2 parts
one is spiritual one where all the gr8 works related to spiritual had taken place.
like bible, ramayana,mahabharath,quran,buddhism,lotus sutra
and the next one is materialistic one like industrialization.
i dream of third civilization where both spirituality and materialism merge and one becomes driving force for another.
wht u say?

i try to have half a hour a day where i meditate, this is my equivalent of prayer so maybe i do. I honestly feel 5 times a day is excessive
