How to create a Successful DISCUSSION ?

Hey guys...i've been in mylot since 2 months now and i've tried creating several discussions..couple of them i got near 100 responses and were really active for 2-3 days...one discussion i created about the monthly bills (http://www.mylot.com/w/discussions/470157.aspx) hit a whopping 160+ response under 24 hrs.. i would like all you experts in mylot to give me some tips to create successful and relevant discussions...obviously the topic should be relevant and should not be a duplicate discussion which is against the mylot policies...what other things matter to create an interesting discussion??
