sites like orkut are a great way to keep in touch with your long lost friends;a fact which is proved time n again.bt when u "keep in touch" wid ur friends, most of their info is visible 2 u, which cannot be averted.N squat minded ppl leave no stones unturned when it comes 2 doin dirrty stuffs.these ppl r encouraged 2 do so as there arent ne proper cyber law in india.with only 50 cases solved uptil 2005, v cant boast of great investigations either.so d new EVILS croppin up everyday,which v cant combat, r things v hv 2 bear.or the other way out is 2 take help frm our hacker friends,watsay??

They are really crazy to do so in good communities like orkut and hi5 they must be restricted from doing so and if at all needed they must be given a differnt area in the wesite

hi, i don't know whether to laugh on these type of people or not but exploitation of every good thing do oocccur . user friendly sites r there but those who r freak can't understand this simple things. so,its better that u should be on the positive side& try ur best to stick to it.

I seriosuly think that these social networks help in keeping in touch with our lost out friends.I personally have found out many friends with whom I had lost touch years back and would have never thought that I'll find em here. I am glad I found them through social sites like ORKUT and Hi5. But these sites also have some disadvanatges as ppl tend to put up thier personal information which maybe be misused illegally by unscruplous people. One of the main reasons of high cyber crime is also that the Indian Cyber Laws( we have IT ACT 2000,thats it)arent framed properly ,so people get more power to misuse the information.At the same time,we ppl ourselves our not aware of our rights...;)
