If you could change one thing in the world, what would that be?

I'd like to eliminate poverty. I know it sounds fancy and cliched. But I get so sad when I see the poor people on the tv adverts about sponsoring them and projects for them, and the children...! Sometimes I just can't believe how advanced on a whole we the humankind are, yet so backwards as the wealth is in the hands of a few. I wish I could change that with a magic ring!

Create a universal currency. That would help world trade because you wouldn't have to constantly figure out how much a dollar is worth where.

I was ready to write that I would end the violence and war, but then I thought more about it and I think that poverty should be first. Everything else matters little when people are starving or sick. Pass me the magic ring :)
