I have seen many people speaking in english, but they always make a lot of mistakes.
Even i used to do a lot of mistakes. My boy friend used to correct me in each and every way , now am good, never make many mistakes. Still my boy friend corrects me sometimes. I really feel great about it.
I studied and learned Kannada language , so never had an opportunity to learn english. From past 3 years i learnt english, now am here.
Has anyone told you that you make mistakes? have you ever found that someone is making mistakes? dont you make mistakes? what do you to correct your grammer?

I was born and raised in an English speaking family. I have been taught English from the time I could speak and have even taken college level English classes. I will tell you that the English language is full of wacky rules that make no sense. It is a very tricky and difficult language to master! I admire people who have learned English as a second language. There are many words that have more than one meaning and many grammar rules that have exceptions. It is confusing. The only people who corrected my English were my mother and my English teachers. I have found that reading any kind of book, magazine, newspaper, etc will improve your English speaking skills. Another thing that may help is renting movies that have subtitles available for the hearing impaired. That way you can read and listen at the same time! Good luck to you and don't be discouraged. Even those of us who were raised speaking English make mistakes.

I never felt discouraged. I always tried to to be the best, I am the best now. I learnt Kannada language for 15 years.I started to read English when i was 16 years old, started talking when i was 19 years old. But i am managed to talk and shout in english. I have learnt a lot many things from my boy friend. Everyday i am learning this language. It is like an ocean, too big to digest.

I used to ask my English mate to correct and rephrase my English in the previous year. Becausae the way I was writing it was not like the native speaker doing. There are a lot to learn from mistakes. I admire who tells me the mistakes. I found some made mistake, but they are learning, I am proud indeed.

Obvious I make a lot of mistakes while I talk. My friends who were beside me rectify my mistakes. In my school times I used to spend some time especially for my grammar. Later on I got the grip on my vocabulary by reading papers. Even though I make mistakes very often.

If I may say so, I think that you know English very well. English is a complicated language. English words came from many different languages, so it is not always very easy to spell a word in English. I grew up knowing english and still I make mistakes. My wife has a master's degree in English and corrects what I say in English every day.

Here is one more Kannada Medium student!! Actually I worked very hard to learn English. It was in my degree when I started learning English. Now, I can manage to speak out my ideas/opinions in a group or I can do announcements as my job requires that!
