What is the best travel insurance to purchase if you live in the UK and are travelling to Germany for less than 5 DAYS. i NEED COVER THAT WILL PROTECT ME AGAINST LOST TRAVEL DOCUMENTS, FLIGHT CANCELLATIONS/DELAYS AND PERSONAL INJURY/MEDICAL COSTS. wHAT ARE MY OPTIONS AND WHO SHOULD i GO WITH? pREFERABLY A COMPANY WHICH DOES NOT HAVE A LLENGTHY AND OVER-COMPLICATED CLAIMS PROCESS.

You might first check with your homeowners and health insurance companies first to see what they cover and then seek out supplimental travel insurance that will cover the rest. Also, some credit card companies will cover some travel related losses. And if you booked your travel online, some of the websites will also offer Travel Insurance (ie. lastminute.com).
