Is it too late to have your first baby at 30?

I think that the best place to start for advice is with a family doctor. Everyone is different, and that is what will tell you if it is safe, or what it will entail to have a child in your 30's. I know that is probably in my plans as well, but it is always best to know the risks before going into something as important and life-changing as this.

It depends on how many you want to have that is a choice you and you husband will have to make. And know 30 is not to old to have kids allot of people are even older.Congrat on getting married.

it has been shown that more complications arise in pregnant women who are 35+, but this doesn't mean you should not have kids. you should determine how many you want and make a responsible decision to have the children and consult a doctor.

It's totally normal to give birth to child when your age is 30. There are some who fathered the third child at 45! You are still young. So go ahead and have fun. You should also see any problems that I might arise with the birth of a child. Sometimes when both the parents are unemployed or both are employed with less income, they find it difficult to raise kids. So you must think from that point of view too.

I can't believe you would even think that. 30 is still very young. Most people nowadays aren't starting to have babies until then. As long as your financially capable of raising more kids, I'd say go for it!

I certainly hope it's not too late. Lol. I'm 28. We've been trying for almost a year and nothing yet. I want about 3 children. So...I'll be far into my 30s before I'm done.
