In Holland the crest of the Royal Family reads 'Je maintaindrai', I will maintain. This was to state the defiance of William of Orange to the Spanish King Fillip II, during the war of independance.

My country India has many different slogans. "Satyameva Jayate", which means that Truth always Triumphs. Then there is this "Everyone should be treated equally and everyone is free to practice their faith and everyone should live in harmony with each other.

I'm from Canada and I don't know our slogan
only the one of my province (Québec). It's Je me souviens (I remember)
