Which is more romantic: an expensive, glittering bouquet OR flowers

that were hand picked as they grew beside the parkway?
It depends. A single rose is pretty romantic. I'd probably be mad that someone picked floweres on a parkway - especially when there are signs everywhere saying not to pick the wild flowers. I think wild flowers are pretty but I'd rather leave them where everyone can enjoy them because once you pick them they start to die and that's sad. I do like less expensive flowers like daisies, lilies and mums.

Well both can be nice I will admit to that. If I had my choice I'd like a bouquet but not of roses. I'd rather have black-eyed susans, which down here in Florida is hard to find (up north they grew wild). If a guy went to all the trouble to manage to get me a bouqet of those that would mean a lot to me.

I would definitely have to say that Flowers - really to me are much more appealing than an expensive bouquet!!!! Althoght I do agree with you that a single rose is so sweet!!! It's really more thoughtful to give flowers to me.

My hubby isn't the most romantic chap in the world, but talking about flowers... when I was in hospital once, he actually handpicked a selection of flowers from our garden for me instead of buying "impersonal" flowers. I thought that was an absolutely amazing gesture and one that I will never forget. So I guess I prefer the less expensive sort - but from our garden and not a park!

Expensive bouquets are nice but I think it's more romantic if you give flowers you picked yourself. It shows that you took the time to pick the flowers I guess. But that's just me.
