Where is the best place you ever went on a "warm" vacation.

Believe it or not, Columbia was my best vacation but that was about 20 years ago. I am pretty sure I would not want to go there now. I remember back then crime being a problem as there were armed guards at the gates of our hotel, and I hear it is has gotten a lot worse.
Outside of that the people were really nice. The hotel was big and gorgeous. The service was better than anywhere I had ever been since...and it was very inexpensive.
I guess number 2 on my list would be Spain. It's just fun with the night life the way it is.

I was in Kenya for two and a half months in 1977. Even then it was their winter but I found the weather perfect. It rained for a short time each day, but it was also sunny every day. It was a beautiful place. I was there as an exchange student.

This sounds really bueatiful. I have looked up African vacations before. I have a book called "Small Luxury Hotels Around the World" and they have listed a place in Kenya where you can stay in your own cottage in the middle of a forest. The walls in the bedroom are all glass so at night you can look out into the wilds and see little creatures lurking about or wake up to a zebra. It is just so amazing. At the moment it stands as my dream vacation. I hope someday I will be able to afford this.
Thanks for your post it made me think of visiting Africa again.
