double shot? what is that? Ive never heard or seen that happen... i think. a good technique I use is having the plasma pistol, taking out the shield, then quick switching to the BR for an easy kill.

I'v never heard of a double shot, not even from my friends who seem to make Halo 2 their preferred reality. I'll ask them about it though and see if I can find out how. Have you ever seen the technique where you have an empty rocket launcher and a sword and you can lunge from almost halfway across the map?

double shotting is all about timing the RRX right. i used to be a semi-pro at halo 2 so i have a lot of practice and it took me a long time to get down RRX YY RRX. first off you gotta make sure you have 2 weapons, a BR and w/e else, doesn't matter. you can't really describe how fast to press the 2 R's but when you go to press down the 2nd R, have your thumb go for X at the same time and press it just a millisecond after R. as for YY RRX you just have to get good at YYing and double shotting fast without thinking about what you are doing

dude pratice you cannot learn that technique immediately...

got to be good at it and have good and swift aiming.....

you could try bxr or rxr thats alot easier to do
