South Dakota seems so remote. Yet, it is a beautiful place to visit. Located in the foothills of South Dakota is Mount Rushmore. Mount Rushmore is a mountain in which an artist carved the faces of four American presidents. It is an amazing site. It was used in the movie North by Northwest with Cary Grant about a man who gets caught up in espionage and has to run across the faces on Mount Rushmore.
I loved going there and I say it is well worth the trip. Have you ever visited Mount Rushmore? Would you like to?

I have seen 46 of the 50 states and would you believe that North and South Dakota are two of those that I haven't seen yet. I have always wanted to see Mt. Rushmore. I like to think of it as the 8th Wonder of the modern world. I shared a house in Quito, Ecuador with a colleague from Pierre or nearby don't remember which. She showed me pictures and it blew my mind. I also saw the movie North by Northwest and the scene on the monument was awesome. Who knows maybe one day......

It is fine to know the information.
